Brad Alexander – Lead Composer

Brad is the composer of DOG MAN: THE MUSICAL (book and lyrics by Kevin Del Aguila), which premiered Off-Broadway and continues touring the U.S. in 2020. He wrote the music for SEE ROCK CITY & OTHER DESTINATIONS (book and lyrics by Adam Mathias), recipient of The Richard Rodgers Award, The BMI Foundation Jerry Bock Award, and Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book of a Musical. Brad scored five episodes of PBS’s Emmy Award-winning PEG + CAT and VH1’s “Celebreality” campaign, and he wrote the music for TheaterworksUSA shows CLICK, CLACK, MOO (Drama Desk, Lortel nom), JUST SO STORIES, MARTHA SPEAKS and songs for DUCK FOR PRESIDENT, FLY GUY and WE THE PEOPLE (Lortel nom). In development: a new musical called BREAD AND ROSES (book and lyrics by Jill Abramovitz), based on the film by Ken Loach and Paul Laverty. Marc Amiel – Supervising Producer

Zachary Decktor – Technical Director

Born in South Jersey and raised on morning cartoons, Zach Decktor studied animation at Delaware College of Art and Design, The University of the Arts, and AnimationMentor. He’s worked as a character animator, motion graphics artist, and Civil War historical interpreter. As Lead Animator on Peg + Cat, and technical director on Clifford the Big Red Dog, Zach loved giving personality to the characters.

Kevin Del Aguila – Head Writer

Kevin is a multi-Emmy-winning writer of the animated PBS series PEG + CAT, book-writer of the hit Off-Broadway musical ALTAR BOYZ (NY Outer Critics Circle Award, Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Award noms), and recipient of the Heideman Award for his play THE GREEKEST OF TRAGEDIES (Actors Theatre of Louisville). He was head writer for the TV reboot of CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG, staff writer for two seasons of NickJr’s NELLA THE PRINCESS KNIGHT, and has written for several other kids’ TV shows including WONDER PETS, BLAZE AND THE MONSTER MACHINESHENRY HUGGLEMONSTER, and TUMBLE LEAF. Other works as a writer include his stage adaptations of the DreamWorks film MADAGASCAR (Radio City Music Hall, national & international tours), the hit book series DIARY OF A WIMPY KID (Minneapolis Children’s Theater), two live shows based on Nickelodeon’s hit series PAW PATROL (national and international tours)and the off-Broadway productions of DOG MAN: THE MUSICALSKIPPYJON JONES (Lortel nom) and CLICK CLACK MOO (Lortel and Drama Desk noms). Children everywhere have heard his voice as a troll in the Disney blockbuster FROZEN.

Martin Erskine – Composer

Martin Erskine is a three-time Emmy Award-winning composer for Nickelodeon’s TV series, The Wonder Pets!, and has composed the scores for 3rd & Bird, currently airing on Disney Junior and the Disney Channel. He has also produced music for numerous Disney movies, including PocohontasEnchanted, and Cinderella, and live theme park background music for Disneyland, Disneyworld, Tokyo Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland, set to open in 2015. He was one of the composers for PBS Kid’s Peg + Cat and Amazon and PBS Kids’ Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Zina Goldrich – Composer

Zina Goldrich won the 2009 Fred Ebb Award for excellence in songwriting with Marcy Heisler. She worked on the musical Ever After, directed by Kathleen Marshall. Goldrich and Heisler’s musical, The Great American Mousical, directed by Julie Andrews premiered at Goodspeed’s Chester Theatre in Connecticut. Their song, Baltimore was sung by Audra McDonald on Live at Lincoln Center. She composed music for Dear Edwina (Drama Desk Nomination) and Junie B. Jones (Lucille Lortel Nomination) which ran successfully Off-Broadway. Snow White, Rose Red (and Fred) (Helen Hayes Nomination) was commissioned by the Kennedy Center and is currently licensed by MTI. On television, she has composed for The Wonder Pets!Johnny and the SpritesPooh’s Learning Adventure and Peg + Cat on PBS. She is the recipient of the ASCAP Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award, a Larson grant and is a Seldes-Kanin Fellow. She has played keyboards on Broadway for Avenue QBombay DreamsOklahoma and Titanic, where she also conducted.

Stacey Greenberger – Writer

If Stacey Greenberger looks familiar, that’s either because you frequent the same halal cart or because she used to be on this very page as 100 Chicken’s script coordinator. Yup, she’s back! And now, she’s a writer! (If it’s the halal thing, please disregard this bio and enjoy your pita.) Stacey started out coordinating scripts for 100 Chicken’s PBS Kids series Peg + Cat and soon began writing scripts of her own. Her episode “The Compost Problem” recently won an Environmental Media Award. Stacey went on to join the writers rooms for Welcome to the Wayne and Blaze and the Monster Machines and pen scripts, both animated and live action, for several other Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. shows. She has consulted on the adaptation of an interactive picture book into a television pilot and developed a short form science franchise for Noggin. Recent projects include writing scripts and lyrics for a soon to be announced Disney Junior series, NBC Universal Kids’ Where’s Waldo?, PBS Kids’ Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and the biggest, reddest credit of all, Clifford The Big Red Dog.

J. Walter Hawkes – Music Director, Composer

Originally from Pascagoula, MS, three time Emmy Award-winning composer/trombonist/ukulele player J. Walter Hawkes has been an active performer, composer, and arranger/orchestrator in New York City for about two decades. He has played and/or recorded with some people you’ve possibly heard of, Norah Jones, Elvis Costello, John Lithgow and many more you possibly haven’t. It’s also likely that he’s freaked out your little kids with the music he’s composed for The Wonder Pets! (Nick), Third & Bird (CBeebies & Disney Channel), Blue’s Clues (Nick), Bubble Guppies (Nick) as well as other tv cartoony gems on Cartoon Network, Sprout, and the Disney Channel. He is happy and proud to have served as the Music Director for Peg + Cat, and one of the composers for Clifford the Big Red Dog. He also enjoys playing with old computers and writing about himself in third person.

Jeff Hong – Storyboard Supervisor

With over 20 years of animation experience, Jeff Hong has worked on numerous feature animated movies and television shows and most recently as the storyboard supervisor for PBS and Amazon’s new series Clifford the Big Red Dog. Jeff graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in illustration and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. When he’s not busy working, Jeff can be found travelling the world and petting all the dogs he meets in the streets.

D. D. Jackson – Composer


Canadian-born, NYC-area-based D.D. Jackson is a two-time Emmy-winning composer for his work on Peg+Cat (5-times nominated) and has also written music for such shows as The Wonder Pets (Little Airplane/Nickelodeon), 3rd & Bird (Little Airplane/BBC), The Ocean Room (Sinking Ship), Esme & Roy (Sesame Workshop/HBO), Sunny Day (Nickelodeon), and more. He is also a producer and a Juno-winning jazz pianist/composer who has recorded 13 CD’s as leader or co-leader, and with diverse artists ranging from saxophonist David Murray to Questlove and The Roots.  As an award-winning professor, D.D. currently teaching courses (part-time) in the Global Jazz Masters program at Brooklyn College, and Media Scoring at their Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. As a writer, he has penned articles for such publications as the Village Voice, and he wrote a popular column for DownBeat magazine entitled “Living Jazz” for 5 years. D.D. lives in Maplewood, NJ (just outside of New York City) with his wife Elizabeth, their 13-year old son Jarrett and 11-year old daughter Aria. His website is: ddjackson.com
